It goes very well hot Rice, Roti, Bhakari accompanied with homemade Ghee.

Ingredients...
For Dal
*Split Pigeonpea/Tuar Dal...1 Cup
*Water...3 Cups for cooking
*Turmeric Powder... 1/4 tsp
Method
*Wash the Dal, soak in water for 30 minutes.
*In a pressure cooker add soaked Dal, 3 Cups of Water, & Turmeric Powder.
*Cook on medium flame till one pressure, and then on low flame for 10 minutes.
* Switch off the gas, let it cool.
*Open the lid, mash it with the back of the spoon. Add one Cup Water.
For Dal Palak...
*Spinach leaves...washed and chopped...3 Cups
*Beaten Sour Curd...1 Cup
*Oil...4 tbspn
*Red Chilli Powder... 1 tsp
*Salt... 1 tsp
*Mustard Seeds...1/4 tsp
*Fenugreek Seeds...a pinch
Method...
*Heat Oil in a Pan, add Mustard and Fenugreek Seeds, let it splutter.
* Add Red Chilli Powder, chopped Spinach, mix well. Cook on medium flame stirring occasionally till all water released by Spinach is absorbed. Oil will release from the sides of the Pan.
*Add Dal, Salt , mix properly.
*Add beaten Sour Curd, mix properly
Let it simmer on low flame for 3..4 minutes stirring occasionally.
* Switch off the gas.
*Serve hot with Rice Bhakari or Roti.
